Contact Dubai Investment

A contact request reaches the team in Dubai and comes back with a written reply within one working day. Tell us where you are starting from and what you are aiming for: that is what lets us give a useful answer first time.

What to put in your message

Three pieces of information change the quality of the reply more than anything else, and two of them are almost always left out.

  • Where you are starting from. Your current country of tax residence decides half of the file: leaving its tax system, how rents are taxed, which treaties apply. Advice given without this information is advice that has to be given again.
  • What you are aiming for, in figures. A budget, even a broad one, is worth more than an adjective. A holding period in years is worth more than “long term”.
  • Your real deadline. A project due in three months and one due in two years are not put together in the same way, and do not call for the same structures.

The first step of the form asks for the subject. That is what decides which desk replies to you. If you are unsure, choose the closest one: we correct the routing on our side, and it costs you nothing.

What we do with your details They are used to handle your request and nothing else, and only our teams can see them. The detail — fields sent, recipients, retention periods, your rights — is set out in the privacy policy.

After you send it

  • Your request is read by a person
  • You receive a first written reply
  • A call is offered if, and only if, it is useful

After you send it

What happens, in order

  1. Your request is read by a person

A person assigns it to the right desk, based on the subject you chose in the first step of the form and on what your message says.

  2. You receive a first written reply

It sets out your situation as we have understood it, answers what can be answered in writing, and says clearly what needs documents or a conversation.

  3. A call is offered if, and only if, it is useful

A conversation with the person who will handle your file, when it adds something that an exchange in writing cannot. If your question can be settled by email, the written reply is enough.

Reply within one working day. No commitment. The time is counted in UAE working days. If nothing has reached you after that, check your spam folder before sending the request again: it is the most common cause.

Finding the right person

Three desks, three kinds of file

You do not have to choose who handles your request, but knowing who you are talking to helps you write the right message.

Property desk

Buying, yield and resale

You have a property in mind, you are comparing areas, you want the net yield rather than the advertised one, or you already own and are thinking about selling.

Useful to include: budget, holding period, areas you are considering

Structuring desk

Company, residency, banking and tax

You are setting up a business in the United Arab Emirates, you are weighing free zone, mainland and offshore, or you need to secure residency and a bank account.

Useful to include: your activity, the country you are moving from, visas needed

Off-plan desk

New developments and payment plans

You are looking at an off-plan purchase and want the real payment plan, the escrow account, the developer’s delivery record and the cost of a delay, in figures.

Useful to include: the project or developer, the deposit available

Where we are

One team, in Dubai

The team that replies to you is based in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. It handles files on the spot, which settles many questions of timing: an appointment at the Dubai Land Department, a site visit or a meeting at the bank cannot be handled remotely from abroad.

Dubai is on UTC+4. A request sent at the end of a European working day is picked up here the next morning, which is why the reply often arrives before your own working day has begun.

The form above is the fastest channel, and the only one that goes straight to the right desk rather than to a general inbox.
